i think it would be great! but uhh i don't think the angels have room
i mean the angels already got garland, hunter and i still think they are looking for more
i'm starting to feel like the 2008 team is going to be even better!
p.s. i agree ervin didn't do as well as i hoped ..

When questions are raised about any star player, the typical questions you have to ask are.
What do we have to give up to get him
Can we sign him to a long term deal
Are the conditions of the deal acceptable (to the team, management and fans)
What impact does this deal have on all others?
If you have to give up Kendrick, Wood and Erwin Santana, for Johan Santana. Have Johan request $23 mil a year for 6 years and that means they can't keep John Lackey, is the trade worth it?
You have to look well beyond the perceived value of one player and look at the trickle down effect.
Eg, for teams that were interested in signing Arod, sure, he's amongst the top 2 or 3 players in the game today, but if his salary demand would equate to an Ace pitcher and a player with slightly lesser stats, is he then worth it?

It would be great for them as a team but they already have good young pitching but if you look at johan he declined the last couple of years plus it would be a record payday for a pitcher that would put the angels with the signing or torii hunter in the league with the red sox and yankees as far as payroll goes

I don't see Santana being traded anytime soon. Especially since they are getting there new stadium soon. And they need a star player to have to sell tickets.

I wouldn't. We already have great pitching, great defense, we need to focus offensivly. Miguel Cabrera would be great right now, and we wouldn't have to give up as much as if we got Santana.

Yeah don't count on it.
Their pitching last year was what kept them in contention. therefore offense will be their main goals this offseason.
