I just need to know, based on the limited information i have, which lenses are compatible with an inexpensive telescope i have.
On the Telescope it says:
302059CT
D=60 mm F=900mm
Coated Optics
Made in China

Does this mean i can use any lens with a Diameter of 60mm and a 900mm Focal Length?

Did you read my answer to your previous question? Are you talking about the big lens at the front of the telescope, or the small lens at the bottom? The big lens at the front will be impossible to replace; you can buy a whole new telescope for what it would cost. The small lens at the bottom, called an "eyepiece," should be available from any telescope store. Tasco scopes usually use the 0.965" (24.5mm) eyepiece diameter.

Hi. You need just what answer 1 said, a .965 diameter eyepiece. I would look at Orion as a source and get the best lens you can afford (probably will cost more than you paid for the scope but it will be worth it). The H type is not great. I would go for a lower power Plossel. (Lower power means a higher number. 25mm would be good.) This will show you nice detail on the Moon, the moons of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn (small and not too bright but visible). You may also want a better stand. For about $16 you can get a converter to attach .965 eyepieces to a 1.25" lens. http://www.telescope.com/control/product/~category_id=adapters_and_cables/~pcategory=accessories/~product_id=07160 You can use the new lens with a standard 1.25" tube if you upgrade your scope. Clear skies!
