When I put the key in the ignition it only turns once, not all the way. The night before it was working perfectly fine, but in the morning it just wouldn't start. I didn't have any warnings that somethig was going wrong with my car. I have a feeling that it could be the alarm system, although I don't have the factory alarm in my car.
Does someone know how to deactivate the alarm? or has anyone had a similar situation?

It sounds like the steering lock. Try wiggling the wheel back and forth to see if you can get the key to turn the rest of the way.

turn the wheel hard to the right (or left) and try to turn the ignition. It might take a few times but it should unlock the wheel and allow the car to turn over.

It's your steering lock. Just jiggle your steering as you are turning the key.

This by the way can happen to ANY car.

If you don't have an alarm system then I really don't see how you could think it was the alarm? not too swift, I would say! Call a dealership!
