It doesn't matter to me that others THINK I am special. They are entitled to their opinion. I personally don't dwell on such things. I am more concerned with improving myself rather than being interested in a subjective ideologies. They do Little to enhance your being and are a distraction from more worthy pursuits in my opinion.

The word "special" is just that, only a word. We are all special in that we are unique and while we may be special to one person or group of people, to others we are ordinary so the word really has no meaning and the only time we should worry about it is when we are meant to be special to a person who is special to us, and then the word only means committed.
If we use the term to mean something like special needs for a group of students, even then the word has no meaning because each person is unique. A person who requires a "special need" in education my actually be an idiot savant in other areas. we are all special, unique, and one of a kind.

Everyone is special in one or more ways.

Now if you don't feel special you need to make yourself special by getting special interests that make you stand out in a crowd.

What are you good at and what do you like doing. These are two questions you need to ask yourself before you embark on being special or very special.

Do what you love to excess and become an expert at it. You will then become special because you can do things other people can't.

Some people look special but more people have to work at being special and its within everyone's reach to be ordinary, special or very special or exceptionally very special.

You choose how special you need to be and go for it.

In an individualist culture/society, emphasis is placed on those whom strive to be "special" and "unique."

In a collectivist culture/society, one is not encouraged to focus on ways to make oneself "special" or "unique."

In my opinion, it does not matter. We are all necessary and placed here for different reasons. How "special" we or others think we are largely unimportant in the grand scheme of things. Love and compassion towards oneself is more important than how "special" you may be considered.

Since we are all God's creation and he breathed life into us then we must be pretty special. God took the time to make each and everyone of us that is special. Happy Thanksgiving 2 U.

Yes. Your life can be much easier (or difficult) if you have some type of special quality that draws people to you. These special qualities can be lucrative in the long run.
