They have one for steroids but why not any other drugs that these players use to cheat? When will baseball truly clean the game of all of the evils in it such as what I mentioned?

HGH is one of the most difficult things to test for in sports. Not only can it be produced by the body but the only known way to test for it is through a very unriliable urine-test. this is why when a player orders HGH they are immediatly swamped by the media, MLB doesnt really have any other way to find out about HGH besides the orders.

Researchers are working on ways to test for it, and they are thinking the soonest full-season they will be able to test would be 2010

The only test that can detect HGH is a blood sample test. Because MLB tests players at random during the year about 3 times they use urine tests. They do not want to stick needles in players 3 times a year when the may have a game soon and it may affect them. They have no other options than blood so that is why they dont do it.

Amphetamines are on the banned substance list and can be detected by the standard urine test that is currently in place. HGH can only be tested for by the use of a blood test which is currently not being used as part of the MLB and Players Union agreement.

there is no reliable test for HGH ........then again if there was baseball has already dropped the ball on this whole era. No matter what happens from here on out everyone is guilty in my mind. I mean hell if you find out Matt Williams of all people did HGH who didn't? Palmerio? Sosa? All frauds, I feel like I've been cheated. If I wanted to see fakes I'd go to the movies or pro wrestling not a MLB Baseball game.

The baseball players union only allows urine testing. Most new steroids and HGH can only be detected by a blood test. The users are always a step ahead of the testers.

MLB does test for amphetamines -- one noted San Francisco outfielder tested positive a year ago -- but as yet there is no reliable urine-based test for HGH (the body produces it anyway).

They dont because they would catch too many good players, and it would make the game seem corrupt, and they would have to really pretty much admit that their are more users of performance ebnhancing drugs, then not. If they want to test, they could, but they dont want to make the game seem unfair. I personally would test though! Good question, star from me!

because as crooked as the losers all are, they would just hire rich lawyers with their millions of stolen dollars from us poor fans, so they could beat the charges. they don't care about anyone but their own skins, arrogant druggie bastards. wish they would all lose their homes and wealth in fires like all the California snobs did.
