The answer is C.3x3 + 24x2 + 60x + 36
(x+2)^3 + 2(x+2)^2 - 4
= 3((x^3 + 6x^2 + 12x + 8) + 2x^2 +8x + 8 -4)
= 3(x^3 + 8x^2 + 20x + 12)
= 3x^3+24x^2+60x+36

3[f(x + 2)] if f(x) = x3 + 2x2 - 4
3(fx+2x) x=x3+2x2-4
3((x3+2x2-4)+2(x3+2x2-4))

you should be able to solve it from there

f(x)=x^3+2x^2-4
f(x+2)=(x+2)^3+2(x+2)^2-4
=(x^2+4x+4))x+2)+2(x+2)^2-4
=x^3+4x^2+4x+2x^2+8x+8+2(x^2+4x+4)-4
=x^3+6x^2+12x+8+2x^2+8x+8-4
=x^3+8x^2+20x-4+16
3[f(x+2)]=3(x^3+8x^2+20x+12)
=3x^3+24x^2+60x+36
(c)
