Have you ever sat on top of your roof?

In 1994, I spent one night on the roof of a hospital where I worked while Pink Floyd played a concert in the domed stadium next door. Watching the city and taking in the night air was good enough...listening to Comfortably Numb and watching the lasers illuminate the fabric roof of the dome was priceless.

gone are the days when we were 14yrs, i and a number of friends used to climb up the house roof and sit there chatting.. but of course ,it was when mum and dad were at work , coz if not at work , they wouldn't let us do such crazy things ....but i remember it was a cool feeling .
I ...used to climb alot , in Trees and on the roofs,

i remember boys used to say i played more like a guy and some fanced me of course ....it was fun , wish we could turn back the hands of time ....

But well, i still enjoy this different life style of growing up too, so its ok and fair ....life is like it is ...

To know that a gal like me climbed trees and roofs before , i always have fun with things that life offers us ...not only is climbing for boys ,some say...but gals too can dig that kinda thing and it feels just so Good and real/normal...

Yep. I used to crawl out my bedroom window and sit on my roof every night to watch the moon and stars. I live in an apartment now and there is no accesible roof for me to use, but occasionally I'll sit on the window sill.

Yes I have at various places where i have lived and its really quite nice. However, depending on the roof, you have to be very careful not to slide, slip, or fall off. Also, you mustn't step very heavily or you might damage the roof. Anyhow, a solution to having no roof to climb up on for one reason or another is to climb a tree, or go to a tower where you can view the scenery there. Of course always, always, be careful when climbing trees or up on roofs, and even when climbing towers. GL and Gb

I have stood on a rooftop in the daytime so I could see where the edge was. Don't need a rooftop on a clear night here, the surrounding yard and empty fields are close enough to the sky. When your out there on a clear night it's like the sky is surrounding you...

Out from my bedroom window there is like a flat roof, my friends and i put a double matress up there and styedthe night on the roof, falling asleep under he stars is beautiful. You should try it sometime. It didnt rain and we all woke up to the morning sun. None of us were damp from the morning dew. Then one of my friends jumped off the roof and broke his ankle.... idiot lol

I've been on top of my roof many times. I also have a cupola which makes it easy to climb out onto my roof. Also, outside my bedroom window is a porch roof so I sit out there a lot. It's very cool :]

Yes lots of times, but its not cool trying to get back in through the windows. I'm going to try it at night now, I'v only ever done it in daylight.

Each 4th of July we sit on our roof and watch all our neighbors shoot really big fireworks off after we have done all of our big ones.

We can set off up to 500mg. I live in the country. We might have shot off ones bigger than that last year though... *sneaky eyes* =-P
