its a data entry job working from home but i have to pay for a special kit before i start working

Companies hire people to do work that provides profit for the employer: if you're paid $100 a day, your employer will expect you to provide them with $1,000 or more worth of goods and services; the more you're paid, the more productive you're expected to be.

Knowing that your efforts are going to make money for them, why would a legitimate employer take money from you?

It's a scam.

Anybody that requests money just about guarantees that it is a scam and there are many out there.

Don't do it it's a scam....You will be spending more money for their service...read their fine line policy at the bottom of their page and you will see why....
