Both, but a lot of what you see as bird droppings is not poop at all, but urine. Birds concentrate their urine much more than we do, so when they discharge, it is very high in urea content, and has that distinctive and annoying white appearance. Because it is so high in urea (rich in nitrogen), it is a very valuable fertiliser. Unfortunately, some Pacific and Indian Ocean islands have been overmined for their guano (bird droppinmgs concentrated over thousands of years), and the islands largely now uninhabitable.

Hahaha. You know they are in flight when it's all over your car, but I have also seen them doing it while perched on a branch or wire. They go quite often.

ok bird get tierd with flight but when they rest in air they let air carry them that the idea man use in sailplane flying without using power just air give power
