Well the best way is to pick a subject. An internet business can be based on anything. But the BEST way is for it to be a subject that you would put time into even if it wasnt making money. A hobby, craft, sport, favorite pet, just about anything that makes you talk longer than your friends like.
Then I could give you more specific answers. Depending on what the subject was. Any of a hundred different sites and directions I could steer you in but its different for a cartoon scribller, or a juggler, an expert game player, or a wise-cracking smart-aleck who happens to be good at it.
Generally however, you can get started for free. You can make it pay if you are willing to put time into it. And you will probably have fun doing it.
