Was it only me that thought barwick and co need booting off ?they picked mc quiff- they should go too ?

That apology from barwick sounded to me like - ' I want my cushey high paid job please dont make waves for me'
If they are so embarrassed get out and let someoone else try !
we need new radical thinking - not 1966 thinking

im irish and i am dissapointed england wont be there when i watch these tournaments i like to watch them to see the best players in the world and i think its a shame rooney wont be there..

but u r right we are in the same boat too new thinkin it should be the best man for the job and not give a damn were he comes from, every time we qualified for a euro or word cup we had an english manager and i was screaming there name.

but u see the problem is people like brian barwick or in our case john delany..there all fookin accountants and they no diddley about fooball so they should not be giving such an important task to get a manager cause their brains dont have the power to do that

let me be the first one to say

Barwick and co. are more responsible than McClaren that he had to pick players who are fringe at best at their own club, and for arranging a nonsense friendly which ultimately cost us our best striker.
