Wife, kids, and dogs have gone out of state to the in-law's for Thanksgiving.
Watching the Lions, doing YA, and thinking about taking a nap.
Some would call it lame...for me it's just another thing to be thankful for.

I like doing this a lot more than mucking about with Thanksgiving preparations. I don't even care for a Thanksgiving feast because I don't really have anything for which to be thankful.

no, I've still got a few hours to cook before dinner time. It's just 2 of my daughters, a son-in-law and 2 grandkids- my other daughter and grandson flew to London last night for the long weekend!

My daughters are both nurses and must work today...our Thanksgiving will be tomorrow and today? I am baking pumpkin pies ... the aroma is wonderfully pleasant.
