I've been doing my research, but i'm still not sure.
I don't know the exact name of the model of my imac...
What i know for sure is this.
imac, 17".
Processor: 1.83 GHZ intel core duo
Memory: 512 mb DDR2 SDRAM, speed 667 MHz
I'm confused about the number of pins it should have, and also about the DIMM or SODIMM, i have no idea what those things mean! or which one my imac should have.
Also, i don't knw the difference between PC-3200 and PC2-5300 memory modules... i have read that both are compatible.

If its is DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz... you can use the same type of it.

A G3 in stable shape is largely properly worth approximately $25 those days. they only are no longer what they grew to become into yet they are although usefull. There are at modern no browsers supported for the MAC OS stated. in case you opt to run OS X get 10.3.9 (Panther), that device will run suitable on it yet you elect 512MB of RAM. My journey is that Tiger is largely too plenty for the G3. Yellow dogs Linux runs o.ok. on the G3 as does Ubuntu. i'm typing this from a "flower skill" G3 500Mhz iMac working 10.2 and YDL 2.6 set up for twin boot.

go to crucial.com and take the memory test. they will tell you the memory you need.
