Just keep everything running and feed your remaining fish as you always did
The main bacteria is in the filter and not the gravel, so that's the one you need to keep going
Hope that helps
Good luck

Keep doing what you have been. Yes feed the tank a little fish food daily. It will only need a few small flakes. Do your water changes as you have been. The bacteria will live on so long as you do water changes once a month. So you don't need to worry about them. If you deside to go alittle over board in buying new fish you should do OK. Depending on the fish you buy. I'm thinking about 10" worth of tropical fish or so. Your tank is established and will not really cycle unless maybe you tried to max it out right away.

Do not clean the tank, only siphon out detrius and poop. The problem when you add fish is that the nitricying bacteria can keep up with the increased load. What you do is that you slowly add new fish over time to let the bacteria keep up.

You don't need to do anything, just keep it going as it is.
The only difference is you'll need to add fish more slowly when you begin to introduce them in a months time.
Hardly any bacteria will be killed off, there will be much more than needed though, so your tank will be very effective!

Keep the tank and get new fish when you can. That is sad that the fish died though. I have a fish and I would be sad if it died.

Good clean water no food. live plants are helpful and you might try an algae eater. I would start with a good clean tank.
