Im fed up with my hubby coming in from the garden with muddy boots and stepping all over the back passage when I have spent hours cleaning the floor, I have asked him to go round the front but he never listens...what can I do?

Get a huge, astro-turf type of mat for the back door.
Next time you are both relaxed in a loving mood, ask him in the gentlest, non whinny most loving voice to please do you a a huge personal favor and use the other door when he comes in. Tell him each time he does, you will show your gratitude in a most sexy, playful, loving way - like a back or foot rub, a sexy bath together, whatever you (or he) can think.
Do not yell or talk to him about this when you are angry or you will take a relatively small thing and blow it way up, making him less likely to accomodate you...

Isn't it HIS back passage as well? Why do you spend hours cleaning it ? Just tell him to take his boots off befor coming in!

Stop cleaning the floor. If he complains tell him he has a choice of using the front door or cleaning the mess up himself.

I bet when everyone read the title to your question they thought about anal sex!!!! Anyway Id lock the back door or the enterance that he comes through so hed have to go around the front. If that doesnt work Id make him clean his own mess up or ban him from sex! That always works!!!

The back door is an exit door, not and entry. May not be healthy for you or him. Try pushing an object into his back door ( like the size of a ball bat) Its not pleasant for you and only self serving for him.

you should come to some arrangement
its not fair if this is the only way he will go
maybe he could come in his way 6 times aweek and you could make do with your way once a month
