Why did the house rebuke Clinton on China Satellite export?

the House yesterday said President Clinton failed to act in "the national interest" earlier this year when he gave permission for a Chinese satellite launch to a U.S. aerospace firm with close Democratic ties, and moved to block him from approving similar exports.
But yesterday's House votes, all on amendments to the annual defense authorization bill, made plain that Democrats, too, have concerns. By 364 to 54, lawmakers adopted Rep. Duncan Hunter's (R-Calif.) proposal for a flat ban on the export or re-export of satellites to China.

Why would some Liberals also vote to do this? Why are some liberals supporting Rep Duncan Hunter proposal anyway?
How will this move effect us now and why is not highly advertised? How come Duncan Hunter is not getting enough
media attention since he appears to be looking after Americas best interest?

Yes of course it is against American Interests.

Ron Paul is looking after the peoples interest.

I like duncan hunters attitude on Having more fair trade agreements, but His attitude on The War is that we have to give up our Civil Liberties in Order to be safe. It sounds like he supports the Sneek and Peak searches allowed by the Patriot Act.

A national Income Tax was sold to the public during WW2 as a Tax on people that make $40,000 a year of only 1% for the War they said. Look what it has grown into now. Theyre is a history of the Supreme Court ruling that The income Tax is unconstitutional.

The Chinese never had the technology to aim a nuke missile and hit something. If not mistaken he ok'd deal for technology to be sold so they could launch a satellite. Now they could nuke us instead of it falling into the ocean. Worth $500,000,000. Hunter knows the Chinese, they took our plane apart that their pilot hit and they have been know not to honor patents. Hunter also built the fence that cut crime and lthe wrong immigrates by 90%. Take care.
