Well i am worried about my older boyfriend,he is fit/healthy but i am worried about the amount of food he eats,we have cooked meals like pasta and cottage pie,and then a couple of hours later he has bacon/turkey/ham and chips, its his life and everything but its the amount of meat he eats.Hes only 34 but i am worried he will have a heart attack and his heart will become weak considering all greasy fry ups he has,and he has abit of a temper on him aswell, when i express my concerns he tells me to stop nagging and that i 'do his head in'.
he came close to hitting me once but luckily caught himself in time,we have been together for 8 years, nothing has changed but for the last year he has been eating and drinking more and always trying to get into fights.I really don't know what to do anymore, and he has proposed to me but i refused to do if he keeps on eating, why is he doing this, does he want to have a heart attack?

You are right to be concerned about his relationship to food and his temperament. Know that he will not change and you cannot change him by marrying him. Generally, marriage, after a few weeks of the honeymoon, doesn't change things, except you. You will become more defiant because you will discover that he is not changing. This defiance generally leads to arguments and him becoming more abusive.

The one thing that can change, if he is willing to try it, is his diet. He first needs to realize that he needs to change from an intellectual point of view. He also needs to understand that a great diet makes you feel really good and will have long term effects.

What you described he is eating will definitely have an effect on his attitude toward you and others. The high carbohydrate, bad fat diet is devastating on the body. If you look at foods as a fire, because essentially that is how the body digests foods, as a slow burn, the following will apply.

Carbohydrates are the kindling. They burn fast. Fats, burn like the big logs, slowly over time and are converted to stored fats for burning later. Proteins are the slowest burn because it takes a lot more time to break down and long sustained energy is created.

In regard to your heart attack concerns, if he eats the typical high carb, low fat American diet, he stands a greater chance of getting a heart attack, in fact, 3 out of 4 Americans die of this each year. Did you know that the first reported case of cardio myfarction was in 1921 in the U.S.? By the early 30's this had risen to 3,000 cases. By the early 50's, 500,000 cases, and now 3 out of 4 are dying of this! What changed?

The diet and the way the food industry has been able to exert huge pressure on organizations that were designed to protect us have become the tools of that industry that now has a revenue larger than ALL U.S. corporations combined. Money doesn't talk, it screams!

The more carbohydrates he eats, the more commercial meat products he eats, and the more sugars he consumes, the more he will want to drink and eat bad oils because his body is crying out for the good stuff and his taste buds have become desensitized to what is good for him, like most Americans. Ever wonder why when you look at a pile french fries you have a hard time passing them up? It's not the so called "will power," it's your body telling you that you are deficient! It's craving the good fats. After a few weeks of eating good fats, like butter made from raw cream, high protein from really good sources like grass fed beef, and dairy products from grass fed cows, and fermented foods that are loaded with predigested nutrients, you will be able to look at that same pile of fries and not have the craving.

Go to the following web site and start the education process and try to get him to read it. www.westonaprice.org

Read about Dr. Price's world wide studies of cultures that he found to be healthy and what they ate to make them that way so they would not have heart disease, cavities, and long lives.

good luck to you

How long has he had this type of appetite? If its just the way he is and is still maintaining a healthy look then there really isn't much of a problem. Numbers for heart attacks and that sort are always loaded. If he is not overweight and is a nonsmoker then he would most likely not have to worry about heart problems asmuch as heavy person.

If the eating has happened all of a sudden, that would worry me. I would be concerned about a medical problem that could be causing hormone imbalances. This can be checked out at your gp. Another explination is depression. This would explain the anger and lassing out. Its important that you communicate well with each other and truly see if things can be worked out.

As a side note, I'm relatively health and eat pretty constantly (sometimes healthy sometimes not). If my girlfriend ever said no to a proposal because I eat too often I would have left her in an instant. I think that its a superficial thing that shows that there may not be true love in your relationship.

If he is 19, pressuring you for intercourse and seeking to make you are taking medicinal drugs, then he is no well for you or your toddlers. Get rid of him, do not say sure to his thought. It sounds to me as though he needs to have a preserve over you. I is also improper. Try relocating again in together with your mum and dad if you'll. I do not imply to sound terrible, however you can want support out of your mum and dad, it is rough with one child, certainly not brain 2, and you are most effective thirteen. Don't beneath any occasions deliver in to him on both the intercourse or the medicinal drugs. Do what is first-class for you and your toddlers. Wishing you the first-class of success Cloe.

I would worry more about the temper and "almost hitting you" than the heart attack.
