I was thinking about this a while ago, and -obviously- there is no precedent for what you call the husband of a female president.
So what is the male analogue of a 'Lady'?
You can have Ladies and Gentlemen, this would make him 'First Gentleman'. But you might also say that the husband of a Lady, particularly when talking about an honorific to do with identifying a ruling class, is more commonly called a Lord.
Then you could easily make a case for the husband of a female president being called the 'First Lord'. Certainly sounds a bit classier.

Yes and yes, and as the first first man, I'm predicting his Secret Service name would be "Adam."
