Off the record is a good show, but it's like the show is about him. He's too cocky. I thought that Offensive Lineman from the Bombers was gonna slap him for real yesterday.

I'm with you on that. I think Landsberg comes off as know nothing with a huge ego. And I saw today's show (by accident, was looking for football). Been a long time since I tuned one in. I lost all respect for him and the show when they sold out to wrestling and the marketing department and treated wrestling as a sport. It did look like the guy was going to get up and smack him. Heck I thought Westwood was going to smack him.

Michael Landsberg is a very good friend of mine and is highly respected (and well paid) in the Canadian Sports Television industry. Some of the guests he has been able to get have turned other shows in Canada who have less talented hosts.

Yes, I have always found Landsberg to be a bit of a goofball. Like the show though.

The thing I hate the most about OTR is that no matter what happens in the CFL, he covers almost none of it - even the Grey Cup game. It s a love-on for the NFL and it s like he s trying to get ratings, or picked up, in the U.S.and that s all he cares about.

lol, i thought Rick Vaive was gunna smack him too, along with Sam Mitchell, but thats whats so fun about him, he makes things fun, i just wish i could meet him!
Aber- wow, lucky you understand his need to protect his first name, cause i don't. He must be hiding something big, but i stopped trying to figure out who he was, because as much as i want to know, i respect him.

He's alright. I usually watch his show only when something big happened in the world of sports, like Michael Vick. Hey, LITY, have you ever been on OTR? lol j/k, j/k....I understand your need for personal privacy.
