Thanksgiving is now a Day of Mourning? No more Christmas Trees or Reindeer, instead its Penguins and Snowflakes. It seems our American traditions have been under attack for some time even more so, since 9/11.Do you feel that Socialism is getting more of a foothold in America? If so, what should we do?

Yes, socialism and liberalism, hand in hand, are doing this.

What can you do? Reject their anti-family BS.
Tell them to take their GAY RIGHTS and shove it.
Marry, stay married, and have several children.
Teach them to be responsible for themselves.

It worked for my parents, and its working for me and my family.

EDIT

All of you giving me thumbs down line up and kiss my ***.

I'm sorry but how does Socialism have anything remote to do with the holidays. If anything these times are sad for allot of people. One thing nationwide allot of people are out there drinking and driving and a lot of people die every Xmas and thanksgiving due to the excesses that happen. Let me ask you a question have you ever studied socialism? These times socialism would teach being with family and caring for those who don't have and are in the middle of bad times. No disrespect towards you in anyway but America has had many problems and socialism is not the cause. You should look all around you and ask what is really taking a foothold. I hope you have a good holiday and remember politics don't define America. Americans define America

might God Bless You Maria, there are various traditions that have been left and are recorded for our studying. Marriage, is one and the retaining of oneself from the sins of the international is yet another. those are all traditions. there are various traditions of people who're held employer, marrying interior of families, or between close pals, interior of a undeniable click, in case you desire to communicate. a number of those traditions are no longer in accordance to the regulation of God, yet human beings do them. Now why is retaining the traditions of our Godly father spoken against, or are no longer worth? somebody is lacking the element!!!

This question is bizarre. No one has kept me from celebrating the wonderful life I have. No one has forced me to change my traditions or taken away my reindeer ornaments. No one has prevented me from grabbing my own bootstraps or taken away the rewards for having done so. I don't know what you think "socialism" is, but my American traditions are quite well.

The traditions that have suffered are more civil liberties like being sure my phone conversations are private, knowing that my reading list at the public library is my own business and not the government's, and being sure that all citizens have a right to a speedy trial by a jury of their peers. Those problems are not the result of socialism. They are fascism and that pernicious and false wrap-myself-in-the-flag patriotism gone amuck.

I am humbled by and grateful for my good fortune, the men and women in service to the country, good health and good family and friends, all of which I celebrate today. Try doing that yourself instead of making up catch words to see what sort of lunatic rants you can stir up.

Socialism, such as Social Security, are American traditions. If it wasn't for that we would have extremely poor and extremely wealthy people like most third world countries. Would you be in the wealthy class? or the poverty stricken? Poverty is a tradition too.

What traditions? Guns & knives? or you mean any other of your devilish ****? If used in the right way socialism can bond ppl together & make a country strong. Provided that you know how to do it.

Let me tell you one of my traditions I had growing up. Every Friday night the old man would go out, come home drunk and beat Mom and me and my brother. Saturday was a continuation of Friday night and Sunday was his day to recoup before returning to work on Monday. Holidays were nothing but excuses to get even more drunk, if that was possible. Cheers.
