I believe that we should thank the wonderful people who protect us and give us a safe day to give thanks!

Along with sending them food or writing them. Today i heard on the news that you can Text them! I don't have the info. They said a soldier will get back to you! In any way i hope they get a lot of attention from a lot of people! Thanks Everyone!

Yes, of course for without the troops we would not have our freedom as we know it today.
The free text to troops appears to be over as of 11/22, but I imagine they will do it agin for Christmas. This site below has the details of many ways to help support the troops:

The answer is obvious yes we should thank our troops. Without them people would be killed at random. But then so do some of the troops.
If they are deceased they are remembered that the remembrance day service.

I'd like to thank all the U.S. Armed Forces for continuing to do what I have done.
And if you'd really like to thank the troops you can go into Starbucks and buy them a bag of coffee and send a letter along with it. Believe me, we loooooooooove coffee.

our support, including sending gift packages, letters, cards.

If you'd like to write your thanks to a soldier there are many websites that are sending emails of thanks. Xerox is doing this among others.
