I dont think he cares either way. He has been mad at me ever since I moved back to Maine 4 years ago. He has told his mother that he's mad because I gave up on life, and that my ex fiance left me, and i didn't try to make it work. I have called many times but if he is not there he does not return my calls.

Yes, do your part. Call him even he won't answer it. Atleast just the thought of the father calling his son will be soo great.

Yeah, you should b/c at least you know you made the effort and you look like the bigger person. Hes 19, he prob has a lot of animosity towards you but if you give him time and keep putting in the effort,he may come around eventually.

call at least he will know you are thinking about him even though he is unhappy with you, I bet deep down he wants to return the calls but he has taken this hate so far that he is embaressed to turn back he will come around eventually just never stop calling and never stop caring!:) good luck!

Leave him a message, either way you're just throwing the ball on his side so he in some point will start feeling remorse and call you back...you know, kids are kids anyway, so don't throw the towel, keep calling him until he answers. good luck!!! :)

Seeing the special day, try again. It can never hurt. In the case he doesn't answer again, try leaving a message. At least you know you're trying.

Call...make the effort and never ever stop. He needs to know that you think of him and wish to share special days with him and that you are available to him when he is ready. Call...don't wait!!

Yes, the thought of my father calling me even if i do not pick up and he wasn't there for me i'd want him to to know he's atleast trying, and that would make me smile.
