Probably the top #10 is...

1) Gays are NOT trying to get into your pants if they talk to you.
2) The weird folks you see on TV are NOT representative of all gays. They're a really small minority.
3) "Gay" does NOT equal pedophile. Law Enforcement recognizes that less than 1% of all gays are. Most pedophiles are straight people.
4) Gays just want to be treated like everyone else.
5) Yes, gay people CAN control their urges.
6) Gays are NOT necessarily weak, girly guys. I've seen some beat the daylights out of straight guys who were harassing them.
7) Gays have served in the military successfully and in other occupations, side by side with you, although you may have never known it.
8) Guys who lisp are NOT necessarily gay.
9) Guys who have effeminite mannerisms are NOT necessarily gay.
10) Gays can usually beat you in a verbal argument hands down, so just don't even try it.

1. We don't all like show tunes
2. Some of us actually do like contact sports
3. "Chuck and Larry" is a stupid hetero attempt at gay humour
4. We a no different from heteros aside from what we do in bed
5. Don't ask us who's the "man" and who is the "woman" if you have a partner.
6. Don't tell me "some of my best friends are gay"
7. There's no such thing as a "gay lifestyle" what on earth does that mean??? Is there a straight lifestyle?
8. There are all kinds of gay people, just like straight people. Don't assume because I'm gay that I am Atheist, Democrat, and have Charles Ritz posters hanging over my sofa.
9. If you want to be my friend, just treat me the same as your straight friends.
10. Don't assume I think you're hot just because you have a dick. Chances are you aren't my type and if you were, I'm not wasting my time on a straight guy.

1) That it's not choice.

2) That there is no "gay lifestyle"

3) That all lesbians do not want to be men.

4) That all lesbians are not just "waiting for the right man".

5) That a lesbian will not leap on any ugly raddled slapper so long as she is a woman.

6) That when we are not even Christians we don't give a toss what the Bible allegedly says about us.

7) That there is no "gay agenda" and we are not out to destroy the whole fabric of civilisation.

8) That our lives do not revolve exclusively around sex, and that we are not immoral and promiscuous by nature.

9)That gay people who want to be parents are not only pretending to be gay.

10) That all gay men are not naturally gifted at interior design ... I interviewed a bloke last year, and, while he was as gay as three parades, he couldn't design a piece of white paper without screwing up the colour-scheme.

First, we must remember that all humans deserve the same love and respect. Next we must remember that same sex relationships naturally occur in many other species. Also, we must acknowledge that current scientific attitudes are just that. Also, all people regardless of sexual orientation have the same needs. Remember also, that religious doctrine is designed for the majority but not all humanity. Remember also, that religion has geographical roots which affect its doctrine. And also don't forget that homosexuality has been around as long as humanity has.

#1 to me is that those that criticize shouldn't worry about who that gay person is sleeping with. It's not them in that bed at night.

#2 Yes AIDS is mostly a homosexually transmitted disease, but it IS preventable. Even straight can people get it.

My husband lost his cousin to the disease, but it wasn't from sex. His lover used a dirty needle and he shared it with him unknowingly that it was already tainted. His problem, yes, but he didn't get it from being gay.

im not gay but here are a few things i would think.

1-just because their gay doesnt mean theiry attracted to everyone.
2-just treat them like normal people because they are
3-some of the toughest looking people might be gay. its not all about the appearance.
4-lesbians dont want to be treated like meat. they are in a loving relationship, not some porno.
