You've got it backwards...the Beatles said the love you TAKE (what you GET) is equal to the love you MAKE (what you give).

To answer the question, yes...

There's a reason that someone made the sticker that said "Jesus loves you. Everyone else thinks you're an a*****." To receive love you must offer it first...

Honestly
My life has shown me this to be absolutely true.

When i learned to love others and forgive quickly, people starting loving me and wanting my attention. Then it seems that there is not enough of me to go around. I was a person that wanted others to love me and give me attention, they didnt, i think they did the opposite. When i gave up on that and began to give them love, something totally unexpected happened.

i believe it to a point.....but sometimes you can give and give and still not get the same amount of love ....but it's pretty close...to get love , you do have to show it.
