Right now.
Its Lebron, no doubt. He's carrying this squad on his shoulders. He's averaging 30 points per game, 8 rebounds and 9 assists that has to be something. That's one of the greatest statlines I've seen in my 5 years of fandom.
Next is Howard. 20-point scorer, best rebounder in the league, and one of the best in blocking/altering shots. And his magic are on top of the East.
Can't say about Nash, or Kobe yet. They're still not as spectacular as these guys. Im pulling for either two to win the MVP trophy this year, but I have the feeling Lebron will win it even if his Cavs have a subpar record.

If you were starting a franchise today, I'm guessing most GMs would select Dwight Howard or LeBron James. Both young, at the top of their game.

1. Nash (best all around, individually and for his team)
2. LeBron (best as far as being an individual threat, but doesn't make the guys on his team way better like Nash)
