Strength. I have a very serious illness and can't eat food. I live on strained baby fruit, saltine crackers and all the liquids I can drink. The doctors won't take my case because they say I am the worst case they have seen with this disorder and nothing more can be done for me. I live everyday wondering if I will wake up tomorrow. I'm dehydrated and malnourished and nothing can be done for me. I have PTSD and see a psychologist everyweek. When the dr told me I could never eat food again I almost lost it. My psychologist doesn't know how I keep going and don't give up. He says he has never seen anyone with such strength. I don't let it destroy me. I figure the man upstairs has a reason for not taking this illness from me. I pray he will some day soon, it's been six years now. I get so tired I can barely walk through my house but I trust in God and would appreciate the prayers of anyone who would like to remember me in their prayers. I write poetry and have had them published. I give advice from when I was an EMT/Paramedic and hope I have helped someone. I say never give up and try to take my own advice. Strength

I wouldn't really like to just be given a Medal of Honor.

I would like to earn it, by maybe saving a persons life.

However, I suppose I could accept a Medal of Honor for working as hard as I do to support my daughters, and trying my hardest to be a good mother.

Surviving my mother. In spite of all her bulls--t, I am still here. Life hasn't been easy by any means, but with God's help, I am still alive. Sometimes I have to wonder why I have survived, because I am alone & have no one to share life with. But, after all the pain, I guess survival is a reward in itself. Good Luck & Blessings
