There never has been a Democrat worth voting for. Terrorists in Iran were holding Americans hostage and gas went from $0.60 a gallon to $1.2 a gallon overnight when Jimmy Carter was President. That would be like gas suddenly being sold everywhere for $6.00 a gallon. The only thing that caused Bill Clinton to look good was the fact that he inherited a great economy from Ronald Reagan. I have no idea why anyone votes for Democrats. All Democrats do is cause racial hatred between Americans and use taxation as a solution to the problem they created. That was most obvious after Hurricane Katrina. Democrats wanted every wealthy person in America to buy new homes for those people in New Orleans. That's not my idea of democracy. I don't believe it's the responsibility of one American to help make another American wealthy.

You do realize that if we simply stop funding the war now, the troops are in harm's way through no fault of there own! It is the military that suffers, not the President. This is why you NEED a political strategy to get out of Iraq. If we either stop funding the war or simply pull combat forces out, this country is in more danger than before. Notice how the only candidates who are talked about in the media HAVE NO POLITICAL SOLUTION! The only candidate in the 2008 election, the only senator in this country, the ONLY person in the ENTIRE US Government who has a political plan is Joe Biden. His plan relies on a economic and federalist plan to separate the ethnic parties of Iraq to put a stop to sectarian violence. Biden did the same thing in Bosnia in the 1990s and knock on wood it has worked brilliantly. 75 Senators agree with Biden on this measure so why not put this plan into action so we can bring our troops home and END THIS WAR!

as long as Democrats want to turn our country into a Socialist country, raise my taxes, have open boarders, or teach my children in school THEIR agenda, then NO Democrat will EVER get my vote. People like yourself need to quite bitching about the war. It's not YOUR A** on the line over there. It's highly unlikely that you ever served a day in your life. People are fighting and dying over there, because they believe in freedom, believe we are doing the right thing on Terrorism. So go ahead brain child, stop funding the war abandon them and get more soldiers killed than have been already. So please stay home on election day, because that will be great for the people who care

Funny, I'm a Democrat and I've been wondering the same thing about the Republicans. I do plan to watch the Republican debate on CNN on November 28.
Staying home on election day is the worst thing any of us can do. That's how Bush got elected.

Yes Senator Biden, but he hasn't stopped funding the war either
I'm voting for Ron Paul though, he voted against the Iraq war to begin with and now he has outlined a proper exit strategy, one that will stabilize the country and have troops home within 3-6 months

Its still makes e laugh when a idiot republican on yahoo answers talks about how the Dem's are going to raise there tax's obviously they have been drinking the cool aid right out of Rush's cup,, 1 Dem's only want to roll back bush's tax cuts that were on the extremely wealthy IE millionaires and billionaires -not anyone that spends there time on YA. I think Edwards is a good candidate he spent alot of his life going after big multinational corporations, which is what we need these big corporations like insurance industry, tobacco industry, media moguls, need to be put in check they are influencing our policy in Washington and this cannot happen,

wish it is that simple. if u stay home, Giuliani'll end up in the white house and we may wish the days of gwb were better.
The dems don't have a BIG enough majority to overide the vetos that have been flying all over the place. 50-49 is not really a majority in the senate. They made several attempts to stop the war but are alwasy coming short of votes. the majority they have in the senate (where it really matters) is just enough for them to get the chairmanship of the committees. nothing more.
Why Nancy took it off the table? Hmmmmm, who knows?

I don't see any. I am highly disappointed with our present choices. Seems like the ones with the most money always win the nomination. Just once I would like to see a qualified candidate win the nomination. On the democrat side we have two who are only concerned about making history. The Republicans have the most sensible candidates but they lack funding so you won't see them on the ticket. Rudi gives me bad feeling in my gut. I don't trust that guy. Just a gut instinct on him and my gut instincts are very often correct. So I don't know I guess I will be disappointed no matter what.

No I do not see a single democratic contender worth voting for. Come to think about it I do not see a single Presidential contender worth voting for in any party so I think I will go vote and write in Micky Mouse If they get a big enough vote there maybe just maybe they will clean house and try to hire us someone worth having,.......

Yes, any of them would be better than any of the Republicans. Hillary is the best one.
While I agree with KIZIAH that staying home is a bad idea, I don't agree that's why Bush got elected. The truth is they cheated!
