Right click the desktop and then click "Properties". Now click the "Settings" tab and set your screen resolution to a higher pixels per inch setting. If this does not work or the resolution will not change then you need to install the video driver. It should be on the restore disk set or on the restore partition of your hard drive.

That is because your resolution is too low.
Chances are you need to update your video card drivers.
and then, if u have any Windows OS other than Vista, you right click on the desktop, then the settings tab, then move the resolution slider over to the right... probly to about 1024x768, but you may have to move it a few times before it looks right to you.
then press apply.

if you restored to factory setting, your video card would still have drivers installed. you need to make sure you ran all the updates. then change your screen resolution if everything is too big, by right clicking your desktop and going to properties.

If you have re-installed the system, you now need to install the drivers for all your hardware including the video card.

IN THE TOP TOOL BAR ON YOUR SCREEN CLICK ON VIEW , WHEN THE LIST COMES DOWN CLICK ON TEXT SIZE AND SET FOR WHICH SIZE YOU WANT .
