I want to put a background on a slide. The background is a picture I have saved on my computer. How do I get it to be the background?
Thank you

Hi,

To put a picture into the background of a single slide, from the Format menu choose Slide Background. In the Fill section click the pop-up button. Choose Fill Effects. Click the Picture tab. Click the Select Picture button. Navigate to the picture file, click on it to select it, the click the Insert button.

To put the same picture into ever slide of the presentation and have it be the default for new slides as you make them in the presentation do the above steps after you use View > Master > Slide Master.

You can also format the handout master with pictures similarly.
