If Bush tries (and I'm not saying that he will try - this is an academic question) to make himself a dictator like Musharraf is trying to do in Pakistan, what would you do?

Would you actively support him?
Would you actively oppose him?
Would you do nothing and go about your life as usual?

it won't happen without some sort of a 'national emergency' pretext first .
It may be a, perhaps nuclear, False Flag attack , a bird flu outbreak, a global economic implosion which is on the cards but being kept hushed by the media etc

The FEMA camps on the ex-military bases have not been built for nothing so lockdown and martial law have been planned for some time.

the majority of the sheeple will buy the official line as they do already and see it all as a necessary measure by their benevolent Prez.

The real 'resistance' is NOW -beforehand- to get information out to those who've got the what-with-all to grasp the reality - this will always only be a minority- but once its a significant minority they can alter events and ready to counter the lies and deceptions that are certain to be circulated.

armed resistance would only be a last resort if it came to rounding the dissidents up for the gulags- but by then they should be aware have made themselves scarce. the sheeple who trusted Hiltery and the leading Democrats would be much more vulnerable -particularly if she gets power. Remember Stalin took out some of his most loyal supporters first in his purges

I think you'll see massive protests on the streets, the likes have never been seen in the US before.
Actually I think he should try it, we're way too divided and that's one way to unite the country.

Our President is so anxious to return to his home in Crawford Texas that you could not force him to stay in office, if i were him i would spend the rest of the time in office at the ranch and unplug the phone.

For one...President Bush would never do that.
Two...yes I would oppose him in our current state of affairs (because it really isn't that bad)

But let's get one thing straight...Does being a dictator necessarily a bad thing? I mean think about it. When is the only time a dictator a good thing? I got news for you. Its when you in charge of a country that is full of crazy emotional people...particularly when they are Islamic extremist. Search your heart you know this to be true.
