The idea of voting for a woman, just because she is a woman is just as foolish as voting for the guy with the best hair. The voting patterns in this country are such that I believe that there will be some who use just that criteria, and that is a shame. It is very indicative of the shallowness of character that has been inculcated into our society , largely by the media.
I would hope that people would vote on the issues, and I think that a lot more will in this election, but there will be some who vote based on some rather silly parameters, like good hair, age, and yes, even sex. Hardly the stuff of leadership, but one of the inherent risks of a Democratic system.
Hillary is a woman, and I suppose that if that is the only issue, it is a reason to vote for her, or against her.
If you look at the issues that are facing our country, she is not an option. The primary reason is that she has no personal integrity, and as a country, we are concerned with our credibility and the image which we project to the rest of the world. If we elect her, we will do even more to damage that credibility. If we elect a leader, male or female who has no personal integrity, what does that say about our integrity as a nation?

I would have no problem voting for a qualified female candidate for President.
I do have a problem with Hillary Clinton, the Clintons in general put the capitol E in Evil Empire. They are more dangerous to this country than people think.
I think Hillary Clinton has a good chance of winning, so I guess people are going to find out exactly what I am talking about in the years to come.
If I had to pick a democrat for President I would pick Obama simply because I think he is more trustworthy than Clinton.
The republicans dont really have a chance in the upcoming election.
Historically, after a two term President voters tend to swing the other way party wise.
So I think it will be a democrat in office soon, its just a question of who.
Obama is definately preferable to Clinton in my eyes.

Nothing wrong with electing a woman for president. The problem now is that Hillary Clinton is not now nor will she ever be qualified to be president.
In order to be a true president, (male or female) one must have a sound business background, be able to convince
the house of representatives that working in unison is critical to the USA maintaining super power status and cleaning up
the excessive corruption in politics.
A truly qualified president MUST above all preserve the CONSTITUTION! Remember this, the founding fathers of the USA in drafting the constitution remain light years ahead of the "goofs" we have elected to run our country. Yes, our country now just a handful of crooks and liars who we now have and have had for too long.
TAKE BACK YOUR COUNTRY! WE are racing towards a total dictatorship right this moment. If the people want this
type of government then vote for HIllary or some other liar!
WISE UP AMERICA. It's getting to be too late!

You took the words right out of my mouth booman. Yes I think the people of America would vote for a woman President. Hillary Clinton is not that woman. I also would vote for Condi Rice in a second. I am a male Independent voter.

I think that gender doesn't matter, but i personally don't think that Hilliary Clinton is the one to be the first.
Reason 1. she lies
Reason 2. she says what she says to get elected
Reason 3. She has already been in office (yes that counts, you seriously think she had no say in what her husband did?)
Reason 4. She's not strong enough, she proved that when she lies
i can even back it up!
she said that we should help fix Iraq and Iran's government, by staying
But when she talks at her speeches she always says "bring em home"

Absolutly we are so behind the rest of the world. First look at the monarchys of the old world. And what about Margaret Thatcher or Indhera Gandhi. There have been great women leaders for many years.

I would vote for a woman for president in a heartbeat if she was a conservative Republican.
If you are talking about Hillary Clinton, I wouldn't vote for that socialist rhymes with witch if my life depended on it.
