can you print from Microsoft word onto whatever type of paper you like? even perhaps tissue paper?

yes you can but your printer will not like it

The documentation of your printer will answer your question. In any event I would not use tissue paper for it will jam your printer.

The ability to print on media is determined by the kind of printer you have and not by the type of application or program.

lazer printers would burn the tissue paper....!! LOL

But, yes you can use any stock.....

if it is different than the 8.5x11 then you must specify the type in the printer properties....

You can use any paper that will fit into your printer.
