I have this awful fear of them, I have never been in one and can't look at the board that covers them. Every house I have lived in from being small have had the entry to them on the stair landings, but i looked in my nanas and saw hers is in her bathroom. I really hate them, does anyone have this fear

have spent a lot of time working in lofts/attics as an electrician ,its ok really providing you dont mind the spiders /cobwebs and working by torchlight.also worked alot under the floorboards, which has more spiders and cobwebs ,mice and rats running about but you get used to it when you're getting paid for doing it

I live in a very old house and the attic is very creepy, i used to be scared because there were never any lights and it had big spiders up there, but now i just think,,, its "just" a room? nothing more. :D

I fell through the ceiling while in an attic once. Now I can not force myself to go into one.

No. Clowns are scary. Especially Ronald McDonald and the Burger King King.

Try doing a handstand and it will appear to be a cellar hatch. That should clear it up.

lofts are great. you can store things in them. and if they are big enough and you have a sufficent floor plan, they can be transformed into another room.
