when i put the mdvd in it says that my media wont play it i have an aspire 3680 and it has xp on it

You install some DVD player soft ware like CyberLink DVD Suite or update your movie player Software

& check the mDVD condition before playing how much scratch it contains . if it consist of too much scratches it give some problem to play.

besides not having a DVD player in your aspire, also make sure the disk is clean and undamaged, PC DVD drives are more sensitive than your stand alone DVD players. Upgrade your Windows media player, and also try opening the DVD from the Open menu instead of just double clicking on the DVD's icon.

If you have a recent system, you may play DVD videos via software decoding. There's a lot of DVD programs you can acquire to do that, check the software that comes bundled with your DVD drive - it may come with one. If not download a free DVD player for Windows: http://www.avsmedia.com/DVDPlayer/index.aspx.

However, if your system is not powerful enough to handle software decoding your video playback will skip frames. You need to install DVD hardware decoder for the video to play fine.

It need s to have a DVD-RW/RW on it... and u need windows media player.. then if u don't have it it's usually 40 bucks to by one. 20 for installation.

it depends if your computer is for playing media?? not all computers come with media center as standard.. you would need to see about up grading your home package..

you have to have a dvd drive, it could be any dvd, dvd-r dvd-rw dvd+r dvd+rw, dvd-dl dvd+dl, just that its a dvd drive, and you can watch them in your windows media player

Go to your forward icon on bottom menu and click..your player drawer will open....stick disc in and close door..action will begin....
