It is normal - it's called nostalgia. It's good to remember those good times in ones life, to remember when you were "young, innocent" and make-upless but just remember there will be just as many good times in the future.
Then when you're 80 you'll be looking back on so many more years and hopefully you can say you lived a damn good life!
It's probably due to the fact that, you feel you've lost a piece of your life and you can never have it back. It's a pretty big thin to lose I think.

Yes, it is normal!
You are grieving for your youth and innocence, when you didn't have any responsibilities, etc.
Grieving sounds like a full-on way of putting it, but it is true!
You will never be that age again, never be young, innocent, or a part of the moments that are captured with each picture!
I often feel like this when I look at pictures of my children when they were little!
They are all still alive and well, but they will never be those ages again!
It is, in effect, the death or end of a stage in your life!
Start weighing up all the positive aspects of being 18, and try to look forward, rather than back, to what the future could hold for you, providing you don't waste it living in the past!
Put the photos away and start making yourself some new, great memories to look back on in years to come!
I hope this helps!

You probably feel this way because you're realizing just how fast the time flies by and how change happens so sudden and unexpectedly. You can look at the pictures and remember the times like they were yesterday, but then you snap back to reality and see how different your life is now. You must truly savor every moment of life before today too becomes just a memory.

Most people I know feel this way, as you look at these photos you relive the moment, the should of, could of, would of, aspects of that moment seem to be haunting you. It can't be changed. Just pick out the good things from the past and move on. You can't change the past but you are the master of your own destiny...

The answer to your top question is ,, Because you believe the photo is of your past , and you'll never get to have that moment again , But it's not true . Because you get to go to every moment in your life , That You've ever had . Once you get to heaven , All of those moments are yours to live ,{ if you want to } for ever and ever { if you choose } there all yours. you get them again { if you like } feelings and all The absolute Moment in it's exactness , it's yours !

Sure I get sad, but not for the same reasons. I look back and see myself BEFORE peroxide and a boob job and think, who was that fugly woman! ha....Actually, it's normal. We always wish we could go back to a simpler time of just bein' a kid. Or, in my case, I wish I could've done things differently and better. (in my forties). BUT you can't and that's okay because the future is a blank slate for you to fill!

i imagine it will be better if we didn t have those images. human beings, tremendously little ones, change so quick. i look at images of my son dressed up in a baker s uniform for kinder to flow as something initiating with B The look on his little face basically depresses me a lot - he not in any respect sounds like that now that he s 27 - he had an "i trust stupid, oh what the hell" look on his face yet attempting to grin by it. I omit my little youthful little ones a lot, be better if I didn t have images - appears like they re all useless. They re all grown up and so diverse now.

Sometimes i also feel like this. I think it is because we know we r ageing and slowly growing old. I think it is normal to feel this way.
