My trainers are getting dirty, would they be safe if I put themin the washing machine?

Put them in a old pillow case first, tie the end then in they go.

I have washed my trainers a couple of times in the washing machine, although I have been told not to do it too many times, as it can damage the drum I think, but I put mine in a pillow case and wash them on their own then tumble dry alone, still in the pillow case and they come up a treat.

Hi, Yes i always wash mine in the washing machine, i hate dirty trainers.

i wouldnt really put trainers in a washing machine! but i find this works all my frends do it to="BABY WIPES" they are brill they really are they come up soooo clean i use baby wipes all the time and everyone i know that i told to use them has said o mi god my runners are sooo clean best of luck and it only cost 2.99 for a pack!

My machine has a special cycle for trainers - it makes a bit of a racket but it works!

wow at first glance I thought you were referring to training pants that toddlers wear.
Are trainers sneakers? I wash mine all the time in a front loader. let them dry in the sun wide open- tongue pulled back.
In fact I wash all my shoes. If you put them on while still slightly damp they form to your foot and are more comfortable.

yes, but to protect the machine wrap each trainer into a towel and tie it securely.

Yes you can wash whatever you like but to answer your bit about it being safe I would need to examine them

yes most of them would be fine but be carful my sister put her's in and the sole fell off one and yes they were a good make
