I was curious, if you were to be driving in your car and you wanted to know how they do it in the movies.........where the car flips and ends up rolling? How fast do you have to be driving? Do you have to jerk the wheel I'm curious.

you must be going at around 70+ miles /hour. then you either make one of the wheels (only one side) go over something of a different height or pop one of the tires and the car will come totally unstable

You can flip a car very easily, well under 70 mph. But, to get that rolling effect going, then, yes, 70+ mph, jerk the wheel, and let the rolling begin.

Also, depends on the type of vehicle. Even with the above action, it would be very difficult to flip a car with such a low center of gravity as a Porshce.

They use a "blast pot" to flip the cars in the movies along with highly trained stunt men. The next time you see a car on t.v. flip or roll just look at the bottom of the car for a round "pot" and it's usually still smoking from the explosion. Speed doesn't have that much to do with rolling a vehicle although it can be a factor. I rock crawl allot and have rolled my Jeep at literally 2 mph. It's just physics.

Messing with some ones car in this way is in many ways like being a horse thief. It can get you shot. If that doesn't work, in some places in the world you could be hung. Another thing is that such a stunt would cause damage to the environment. Just get over it and move on. So his tempo waxed your Nissan. Why don't you just buy a better car and not count on your money being able to make you a better driver.

I've "popped" tires going over 70 several times, I never flipped.

It should be noted that I don't have an SUV, cars that I've had that I blew out tires at high speeds was my old 1994 Ford Crown Victoria, and my current 1981 Oldsmobile Delta 88
