Yes, it's snowed here many times already this fall/winter season. 4700+ feet elivation, high mountian desert area of Idaho. Winters last about 9 months here. It's 15 degrees outside right now....and we are not to the cold part of the year yet, by any means.
Its been snowing here since early October, off and on. No real accumulations yet at this elivation...have to got to about 6000 feet for the snow to be staying. My husband works on the commercial wind turbines. They are at just over the 7000 thousans foot level, so he's been working in cold snow for a while now.

Nope, not in NY. Doesn't usually 'snow' until the middle of December. Last year we got one snowfall, and it was about an inch maybe. Something like that. Lots of frost though.
