Here in the US, thick is synonymous with curvy--an example is the term "thick honey" to describe a voluptuous lady.
In the UK, thick means what we call dense here---stupid.
Might be best to define which of these you mean.

thick for me are pple who dont get general concepts about life not so much intellectual but theres the basic like dont pee on the loo seat
