So far it seems very few took the time to think deeply about the quote, not to be rude or anything but come on ! this IS the philosophy section.
this quote is saying that a man with a passive attitude who never tries for anything ,never experiences failure.
which on the surface is true ,If you don't compete -you don't lose. if you don't pursue a dream -you aren't disappointed when it doesn't come to fruition .If you dont strive for position- you cant be rejected.
Thus non-action spares you from failure.
I have a lot of thoughts about this, that it can be both a wise or cowardly reaction to life.
WISE in the way that if you dont want too much from life and you want to slide through with causing yourself and others as little pain as possible , you dont strive for anything. accepting what comes.
COWARDLY because I believe we are here to experiance all things. Success and failure,Joy and Pain,Acceptance and Rejection.that each of these painfull things are obstacles to be overcome ,grown through and not avoided. To do so would be like going to an awesome banquet and eating one thing.
that doesnt mean I jump into any experiance that comes along.Wise choice and spiritual discipline are nessasary so one doesnt waste their time and effort.
peace><>

very good in some cases,
actions walk and words talk (okay that I do agree),
but I agree likely with that other guy,
Patience shouldn't be mistaken for Procrastination,
overall it does not apply to all situations,
and as a matter of fact it may destroy
an opportunity if you don't wait,
Common sense is better than being in a rush to
complete whatever whenever.
The Bible also says that there is a time for everything,
Ecclesiastes
Chapter 3
1
There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens.
2
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.
3
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to tear down, and a time to build.
4
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
5
A time to scatter stones, and a time to gather them; a time to embrace, and a time to be far from embraces.
6
A time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.
7
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to be silent, and a time to speak.
8
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
9
What advantage has the worker from his toil?
10
I have considered the task which God has appointed for men to be busied about.
11
He has made everything appropriate to its time, and has put the timeless into their hearts, without men's ever discovering, from beginning to end, the work which God has done.
12
I recognized that there is nothing better than to be glad and to do well during life.
13
For every man, moreover, to eat and drink and enjoy the fruit of all his labor is a gift of God.
14
I recognized that whatever God does will endure forever; there is no adding to it, or taking from it. Thus has God done that he may be revered.

'John Cena followers quite need to advance the hell up and act there age, Cena is in basic terms sought after by using fact females choose him'~ No, he's sought after by using fact marks(young babies customarily) like to be sure him win, and smarks wanna see him lose. Win-win subject for WWE there. If women human beings love him, so what, it is not harming me any. He works annoying and he's stable for organisation and that i've got have been given no problems with him. won't say he's the main proficient interior the ring, whether. 'I dont comprehend how every physique could be a Jeff Hardy fan, they have been taking the comparable stuff as him in the event that they prefer him plenty'~ i'm not a Jeff Hardy fan by using fact of careless mindset interior the previous and his sloppy in-ring artwork, not by using fact he grew to become right into a drug person. 'WWE is the only stable wrestling organisation, each little thing else sucks'~ in basic terms a closed-minded WWE 'mark' might say that. there's a plethora of wrestling promotions international in basic terms waiting for visitors. 'Triple H gets what he needs by using fact he married the bosses daughter'~ you have gotta supply credit to HHH, the guy's earned his spot and paid his dues. I do in basic terms not think of they might desire to make him out to be some type of God or something. 'WWE from 2002- latest is for babies in basic terms, young babies might desire to computer screen cartoons not wrestling'~ Who says this?

At the beginning of the quote it says "for " which begs my mind to ask what is the rest of the story as in. A man was confused on what to do , then he remembered the words of his Father, "Act now!" "For he who waits, ect..." So its difficult for me to glean wisdom from this "quote" because of too many unanswered variables, however, I admire this noble effort.

well in many cases waiting for the right time is best , if you act too fast on something you may not be prepared to handle som situations...examples, relationships, real estate, stock market......you quote sounds good but holds no merit with me...sorry

This is not an opinion.
It is a homily instead of a quote.
One possible conclusion we can come to regarding the offering of homilies and opinions is that certain persons are given to be impressed by them. I am not one of these persons.
