It's a nice name but she will be going through life spelling her name right to a lot of people! Cindy is how most people will think it's spelled.

OK, so you are being inflexible about the spelling. I think the daughter with that name would have wished you to have spelled the name correctly, not trying to be cute or trendy.

Sorry, but it is kind of awful. Cyndee is a nickname, and a poorly spelled one at that. What about Cynthia Jade?
