How about a bottle of good champagne so they can clelbrate xmas in their new home?

Check out this site: http://www.gobuygifts.co.uk/home.html . It's got a page dedicated to unusual things for the house, I'm sure they don't have everything! If you think they HAVE got everything for the house there's other gift ideas on that site which might help give you some inspiration.

Happy xmas shopping!!!

If they just bought a house, then everyone else will be thinking "house" and getting them "house" presents. How about something to get them OUT of the house? Like movie passes or gift cards to their favorite restaurant?

Usually people always need to do something to personalize or fix up their new house, so a gift card for Lowe's or Home Depot might be good.

But for a more personal gift, I'd recommend an ornament that says "First Christmas in Your New Home" from Bronner's (Christmas store). You can personalize it with their names, and it's not expensive. It will be a nice memento they can enjoy every year.

why not get them something really personal each, they have everything for the home so is there any perfume she likes/a make up set or candles/cds etc...how about a pretty piece of jewellry. and for him you could buy some power tools, clothes, scarf and hat set, a cd/book/comic/dvd of a favourite tv program/kids program you both really liked as children! a subscription to a mag! Good luck!!

Why not vouchers - maybe for next or something. They do really nice home stuff, but if they don't need anything else for the house, they can use them towards a new outfit or something?

You could always make them a care package. If you know they like sweets, make a baking gift basket with different ingredients, a different shaped cake pan, or something like that. Or if they are tea or coffee enthusiasts, do the same thing. Include different flavours, personalized mugs, biscuits... etc. etc.

I've just bought my son and daughter in law a lovely bird table for the garden. I know it's not overly inspiring but I think it'll be appreciated. How about a garden pressie if the house is fully furnished to their taste....bird bath, hammock, bench, shrubs in attractive pots.

Gift card at Home Depot or Menards
