Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year. The day after Thanksgiving. It is the start of the holiday (Christmas) shopping season. Usually when stores offer their absolute best deals on merchandise.
It is called black friday because that is the most profitable retail day of the year. It is when stores move financially from red (losing money on the year) to black (making a profit on the year).
What I am asking is what is the craziest thing you have seen people do during the shopping rush and fights over great deals and merchandise?

Last year there was me and this VERY short big woman. I grabbed a betl in Hot Topic and she treid to take it from me! I was like "***** no!!" and she got a hold of the belt [[ wich had a very large buckle on it]] and starts HITTING me!! I was terrified and the mall police had to escort her out.!! But in the end i got my belt...[[and im wearing it right now!!]] ♥Keep marching in the black parade!♥

The craziest thing I have ever seen is a shopper grabbing the last set of golf clubs ($1500 reduced to $299) from under the noses of two people argueing aver who has seen them first and therefore had the right to buy them. He then proceded to remove the 3 wood from the set and swing it at the two different guys who tried to take the clubs. He was about 75 and 5 feet tall and no-one could get near him.
He was eventually escorted out of the store as their were about 20 people ready to rip him a new one.

I saw a teenage leap over a sales counter to get the last copy of some popular video game. Had he not completely cleared that counter, he would have been seriously hurt... or worse! Some people on Black Friday are just plain NUTS!

The fist fights!!!! Over the most stupid stuff too. Remember the Elmo craze? I watched two women get into a knock down drag out over that. One got hospitalized because of a fractured skull and the other got sent up for 120 days for assault. All over a damned stuffed character. Is it me or is it mainly women getting into these scuffs on Black Friday? And who said they're not as likely to be violent? Obviously they never been shopping on Black Friday. We bought the last white artifical christmas tree one year and a woman tried to steal it out of our cart before we got to check out. My wife....LOL... got into a scuff with her. I wouldn't have really cared. I wanted the 7 1/2 foot pine(beautiful tree really) actually, but my wife wanted the white one. Well...that's the one we got. I did end up getting the other tree though a few years later. And this time i went by myself. LOL.

A drug store had a great sales on cologne and it was locked in a glass case. The store manager was opening the case to get it for a customer and another customer approached them wanting the same type of cologne. It was the last bottle so the second customer knocked the store manager on his butt, grabbed the bottle of cologne from the first customer and ran with it.

I have never gotten into the frey on Black Friday before, but I am seriously considering it for tomorrow. Wally World has a portable DVD player for $49.95. Shhh, maybe I shouldn't have said anything.
