thankful for almost 20 yrs sobriety now ...

whoo hoo--sobriety! I'm almost at one year, myself.
I'm thankful that my crazy friend didn't kill us both, driving back to SF from Santa Rosa.

My health, my beloved, my cats, the beautiful town I live in overlooking the blue Pacific as it crashes against the cliffs, my friends who even now are way over on Moloka'i beneath the tropical sun, gentle trade winds wafting over them, playing in the warm surf, and preparing for a lovely Thanksgiving dinner...without ME. But I am thankful to be here, to be alive and healthy. May the blessings of the universe be with us all. Joy to all.

I'm thankful for my kids most of all. And my family and friends. I've got some really great friends! And I'm very thankful for those phone calls from TX! That always make me smile!

i'm thankful for the small amount of time i have on this beautiful planet. for my family and for the truly wonderful people i know. also, congrats on your sobriety, thats really something to be thankful for, i'm married to an alcoholic and i'm hoping someday i can be thankful for his sobreity also.

(in no particular order...)
my art....and getting back into it again.... my family....my boyfriend and all the good things he has done for me....my old truck that still runs....my home.....my job.....God looking out for me all the time.....my parrot Birdles and my pug Otis.....the goodness and kindness that still exists in mankind as a whole.... and the world god made for us to live in...
congratulations of your sobriety....that is something great to be thankful for....
