There are no particular dates on which airfares are usually on sale. Airlines set prices dynamically based on supply and demand. If flights are selling out, they may reduce the number of discount seats and/or raise prices. If they have too many empty seats, they may increase the number of discount seats and/or reduce prices. It's based on conditions for the dates of the flights, not the date that you buy the ticket.

Trying to predict if prices will be cheaper tomorrow is like tyrying to predict the direction of the stock market tomorrow. It may be up. It may be down. Who knows?

There are a few things that you can do to increase your odds of finding a good fare. Buy your ticket at least 14-21 days before departure becuase most discounts have advance pruchase restrictions. If you fly midweek, it is often cheaper than other days of the week. Pay attention to seasonality. For example, fares to the Caribbean are higher during the winter than the summer because many more people want to go during the winter.

generally, no

airlines do not have the same seasonality pattern as retailers, so they don't have the same fare sale times.
