Get interested in everything that you learn, do all of your homework/bonus work, do well on tests, get good grades, do more than what is expected, volunteer to help in class, raise your hand more often, take on leadership roles with group work, do extracurricular activities, be friends with everyone in the class, tell your teacher hi and ask them how they are doing (be friendly), etc. It can be stressful if you are in high school trying to achieve what I listed, but it is definitely worth it! Good luck!

It didn't happen to me, growing up, coz I started off as this kid who hardly ever got anything wrong and was always having to have "extra" work to keep me busy. But my daughter sure has this problem, and I can tell you it seems to be in part from the laziness and boredom she shows. If she would put her head to everything and just do the work and ask questions or think of questions and write them down and look up the answers, basically show a love of learning, her teachers, who've seen her test scores, would be less inclined to treat her as a lazy person not worth instructing. She won't even just think about questions to ask, a small step!!! This is the same thing I would say about anyone else who has this problem; examine to make sure they've not shown themselves lazy and uninterested.

I go outside the box. I've always had a propensity for answering besides the question. It usually includes an explanation why I think the question is pointless, and a lengthy venting about the sheer stupidity of it, with just enough facts thrown in to make it seem like I'm somehow complying to the question paramaeters.

It's basically a way of saying "I do know the answers, I just can't be bothered to write them down", works for most tests and almost all essays and presentations. (Caveat; works for ME, might not be universal)

ESLGames is desirable, yet i could upload that your questions do no longer might desire to be approximately something you don't comprehend. they might desire to coach which you're fairly questioning with regard to the concepts, and using it. Ask if some journey in background, case in point, is why something happens now. Ask if a theory in math may be utilized in some actual international subject (no longer "whilst are we ever going to apply this in actual existence?" yet "Are those geometry formulation utilized by making use of architects in making plans homes?") Your instructors would be fairly inspired. for my area, sophomores should not be taking AP instructions. AP instructions are meant to be college point, and sophomores- even marvelous ones- don't have the background expertise or cognitive potential to do college point artwork yet. it relatively is a rip-off by making use of severe faculties to make their scholars greater suitable to faculties. i'm not sure it works. i think of faculties understand that sophomore point AP instructions are purely souped up popular instructions. you will do purely as properly by making use of taking popular instructions next 365 days, making specific your instructors understand who you're, and then taking AP instructions your junior and senior years.

What I did was went overboard with schoolwork. I went above and beyond what they asked, showing them that I was plenty good at what I did. Ever since then, my teacher has left me alone and is actually on really good terms with me.
