who can they pick about for free angency?...or any trades ?
what are some rumors going with them now about making deals??????..........just need to know who they are trying to make a deal with?................

They're rumored to possibly be working a trade for Baltimore's Erik Bedard, but the deal would require Matt Kemp (and others) and the Dodgers may not want to part with him.

They're also looking at dealing for Florida's Miguel Cabrera, and have interest in free agent outfielders Aaron Rowand and Andruw Jones. Rowand is a primary target, from what I've read, because he'd be cheaper than Jones (and coming off of a better season).

The free agent market is slimming down in a hurry. If you look at this years crop of free agents it was slim pickin's to begin with. And now that A-Rod and Hunter are gone, you're pretty much left with overpriced wannabe's like Andruw Jones and Miguel Cabrera.

When it comes to Jones the only plus is his bat and that doesn't help you on defense. His glove his suspect, and his chemistry isn't right for the Dodger's, especially now that Torre is there.

Cabrera is a better choice, but I thought the Dodger's have the hot corner covered, though I could be wrong since there was the hint at one time that they were looking at Mike Lowell. Cabrera can hit. His fielding is okay despite his limited range which equates to his weight issue.

The Erik Bedard issue is intriguing but I don't think that Frank McCourt is going to pay the money fro Bedard, who would be a grerat addition to their seasoned veteran rotation.
