You sure it's the radiator light and not the washer fluid level? Also check both the coolant reservoir and the radiator itself if there are two caps. Make sure the reservoir line to the radiator is not plugged with old Dex-cool anti-freeze.

Yes the sensor in the radatior might be coated with calicium and that sometimes can be cleaned. I just reccomend replacing the coolant level sensor and o ring.

REPLACE THE RESERVOIR SENSOR OR BETTER YET......

I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU GET YOUR VEHICLES COMPUTER SCANNED TO FIND OUT JUST WHAT THE PROBLEM IS FIRST SO THEN YOU WILL HAVE SOME IDEA WHAT IS WRONG AS WELL AS WHAT TO EXPECT.

TRY FINDING AN INDEPENDENT AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR SHOP INSTEAD OF THE DEALER OR ANY CHAIN STORE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE OVERALL MORE PLEASED WITH THE PERSONAL SERVICE THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE.

yes it probly needs to have it flused out .for the year also did you check the over flow that goes to it
