I believe that the specific memories I am bound to as a result of being in this body will cease when this body dies.
However, I will go on. The essence of me will continue through time. Life is infinite in my estimation. What really make me "me" has little to do with the body I currently occupy.
I will never die, though the body I am in will die. I will return to the collective consciousness until such a time that I find another body to occupy.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I have lived my life so far without the expectation of nothing after death because I live in the moment and I cannot see beyond that. I have nothing against religion but once I'm gone I'm gone!
So I rather enjoy life now and say" Carpe Diem" to everyone out there.
In order to be remembered after I'm gone I either would be an SOB to some or a good person to others , When my time will come I will tell them all "I did my best!" And after that who cares!

to me it depends on how you define, or even limit life,
no i dont think this life here on earth is my beginning, nor do i think when my time here is done that it is any more then an ending to this phase of my life,
i do not think the ending of my life here on earth is the ending of my thoughts and memories, as that goes against the thoughts and memories i had when i began this life
i am sure you have heard the expression "out of the mouths of babes", i do think people come into this world with knowledge, society for the most part just doesnt recognize nor encourages it
when my daughter was young, around 4 years old,, and i had wondered how to approach the subject of my beliefs, a elderly neighbor passed on, she said "i think when that happens, you go someplace, and they give you candy to make you better, then you can come back if you want to"
she in her childs words had summed up my beliefs, which took me many years to accept, as they were not the norm of the society i was in,
while my time in this body will end, no i dont think i end
at the same time, i do think we are given this life to live it, we should be focused more on where we are at, not where we came from or where we are going

this question in itself a pseudo question. the life is life. it is not to be looked into something else to it a meaning as to what the life is. there is no point in giving theories if there are lives after this life or not. this is the advertisement program of different religious companies.
avoid it.
you got a life. live it. it is not wise to reduce this opportunity to attain something which material. material A or material B would always create confusion. presently your problem is the dichotomy of mind and the body. your body is "now and here" while your mind is flowing everywhere except "now and here".
you have to remove of non concurrence of body and mind. presently you are in bed with a partner but your mind is not here. it is either in the office or in the park or somewhere. your experience with your partner in the bed is divided. remove this division. your life will start dancing and you will not ask such questions.
you may have the methods to attains at my site
http://www.lightinlife.com/
and you will find a number of articles telling you about the thoughts and the life and the death also.
do not miss the opportunity.

I desire i might desire to furnish you some encouragement or words of understanding, yet i can't. And the clarification i can't is by the fact i've got been getting into the time of an identical subject, basically in my case it is been 2 and a 0.5 years and nonetheless counting. i will say that I harbor no emotions of ill will in the direction of this woman. it is merely that we've been at distinctive junctures of our lives and did no longer choose an identical issues. besides the undeniable fact that, none of that differences the reality that I had in no way met all people like her as much as the element of the day I first laid eyes on her, nor have I met all people like her on account that. And the worst area is, something deep interior me tells me that I in no way will. And opposite to what some could say, some human beings basically run into that distinctive somebody as quickly as in our lifetime. i would be 60 next spring and have little desire of ever assembly all people who might desire to ever rival this gal. as much as I hate to declare or think of it, that's merely how that's. Oh, and thank you for the ' status document '. it is severe high quality to understand that a minimum of one guy or woman at right here likes me.

Your thoughts and memories cease after death. Did you have thoughts and memories before your birth? It's the same thing.
However, you, as a lifeless amalgamation of matter, will never cease.

You live love, and treat people how you want to be treated . So if there's life after death than you'll be able to live it and not burn in hell. How about that!
