How does the process work.? I would love to be able to donate.

First you contact them and explain that you would like to be included on the Bone Marrow Register. Then they will contact you with health forms to complete to rule out health conditions. Later they will then contact you to ask for some blood specimens. Once that is done, you are placed on the list. I was on the list for many years, certain age restrictions and now 49 am too old to donate. However I was never called upon to donate. I did have a Bone Marrow Biopsy, not related to being a Bone Marrow Donor and it did not HURT.

Okay you go to a clinic, tell them that you want to donate(keep in mind that you have to be a certain age) then the wil take some blood to check a few stuff and thats that. O yeah and it hurts like hell!!
